Welcome to my website! I am a Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics at Perdue School of Business at Salisbury University in 2025-2026. In Fall 2025, I’m teaching ECON 211 Principles of Microeconomics and ECON 212 Principles of Macroeconomics. I’m also the advisor of SU’s 2025 College Fed Challenge team. In Spring 2026, I will teach ECON 211 Principles of Microeconomics, ECON 212 Principles of Macroeconomics and ECON 312 Intermediate Macroeconomics.
My research interests are in the intersection of monetary economics, time-series analysis and macro-finance. I am particularly interested in analyzing the financial market effects of monetary policy, especially Fed’s balance sheet management policy.
Teaching is always a self-fulfillment for me. I am excited to teach courses at undergrad and grad levels in macroeconomics, monetary economics, financial economics and time series analysis.
I earned my Ph.D. of Economics at the University of Texas at Dallas in 2025, and was proudly advised by Prof. Victor J. Valcarcel, Prof. Daniel Arce, Dr. Enrique Martínez-García and Prof. Irina Panovska. I also received my MS in Finance from Johns Hopkins University in 2019 and my BA in economics from Central University of Finance and Economics in 2014 in Beijing, China.
