Yundi Lu

Welcome to my website! I am a PhD candidate at the University of Texas at Dallas’s economics department and will be on the 2024-25 job market. I’m proudly advised by Prof. Victor J. Valcarcel, Prof. Daniel Arce, Dr. Enrique Martínez-García and Prof. Irina Panovska. I also hold an MS in Finance from Johns Hopkins University.

My research interests are in the intersection of monetary economics, time-series analysis and macro-finance. I am particularly interested in analyzing the financial market effects of monetary policy.

Teaching is always a self-fulfillment for me. I am excited to teach courses at undergrad and grad levels in macroeconomics, monetary economics and financial economics.

I am more than happy to meet with you in The Missouri Valley Economic Association 61st Annual Conference in Kansas City, Missouri on October 24th-26th, 2024 and ASSA 2025 Annual Meeting in San Francisco, California on January 3rd-5th, 2025. You can also contact me at Yundi.Lu@UTDallas.edu.
